Comparative Study of Halcyon Building & Daniel Libeskind’s ROM undertaken by students of Architecture School ENSA Paris-Malaquais

Architecture students of ENSA – Paris-Malaquais have undertaken a comparative study of Halcyon building and Daniel Libeskind’s extension of Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). The students have chosen these two examples of architectural works among the others, which were imposed and then they found the problematic concerning the chosen examples by themselves. They had developed their study during one semester under the direction of Professor Dominique Rouillard.
The idea of such an exercise is to develop between the students of 3rd year of architecture the capacity of analyzing and writing about architecture.
